I might write it by English for erasing my guilt, ker ker. But I afraid I may the only one who can know the meaning.

At first, I want to thank a good female mushroom, even it may have no gender. I had attempted to get this movie for a while,so I would show my butt as my appreciation in return.

One of  fascination in movie is that anything could be expounded on film, no matter how shallow or simple the topic is. All of them could be packaged within about a 2-hours gorgeous movie, and the topic might be only noticed at the last 5 mins in the movie. And the audiences would finally say "what the...".

"The Best Offer" is just one of this category classically. It remind me another movie called "Matchstick Men". But "The Best Offer" still can cause much more damage than "Matchstick Men", especially on nerds.

A old, virginal, and rich nerd with pictures-collecting addiction met his first love and learned how to pick up...wait a second, why does it sound like an anti-fraud advert made by government?

In the beginning , I tried to avoid this anti-fraud idea occupied my mind and excepted the character could embrace his happiness ever after, because some part of my heart had been touched by this character. A highly proud, selfish, and lonely elder as a professional appraiser dose not know anything about relationship, just like some geeks, until a girl with anxiety called him for valuation...

 $30 one touch and no bargaining, sir. BTW, I'm not 16 yet.

She is so gorgeous, innocent, and pure. no one could resist her, and importantly no one touched her before because of her agoraphobia. Then just like a miracle, her agoraphobia was cured by one touch from a old voyeur...WAT?

No matter what happened on her, he had been tempted, provoked, regretted, sunk into love, and at last...betrayed. I just wished the last step could be never existed. A old man could differentiate the authenticity in any artistic product and valuate it, except his relationships. Every present and event he made with full of intention for her happiness are just in vain. OMG, he just learned about how to love someone, then..it happened. They always say: The first time is most painful. Maybe this movie is just made for suggesting every single nerd: Forever alone or pay for chicks, OR just go outside and learn how to communicate with other person! Come on! There is no such a virginity girl who afraid of everyone except YOU! That kind of girl only exists on 2D animation world! It would be more reality that purchases a robotic lover.

"How much is this love doll?"  "Uh...It's a terminator."

Talking about the robot, I don't know why the fraud gang had spread the pieces of Vaucanson's automaton over the villa. The automaton from 18 century is vary expensive, right? And why did they just leave this automaton worth about millions?

Actually, even if it had been not appeared in the movie, nothing would be changed. This automaton is just superfluous. Or maybe the direct just thought it would be awesome if a robot as a metaphor told him the truth.

If I couldn't get your love, I would get what you love.

But in some opinion, the topic of this movie is not about the fraud, is about how the love becomes the hatred.

Billy, another old man, loved Virgil Oldman so much, that all he needs was recognition and love of Virgil. Sadly, Virgil just treated him like a BFF, best friend forever, without "love". In addition, Oldman judged the paints of Billy as piece of shit. So Billy decided to set him up. He tried to employ a girl, bribe a boy, a friend of Oldman, rent a villa, purchase or rent many artistic products, and elaborately set up such complicated trap for revenge...Wow! Terrible!

Never ever never mess with old gay, never.

Oh! another thing I learned is saying "All i want you to know is I love you" could let you avoiding a law suing.

Right:"Do you want to kill a drago..." Left:"No!"

In conclusion, the main subject of this movie is very simple and easy to understand. But many metaphors and introspective things are filled in every corner of film. If you watch this movie again, you would see more detail and clue emerge. It make this movie more genuinely interesting.
